Keeping On

“There are moments in our lives, as individuals and as institutions, when we grow weary of the work to which we’re called. The biggest challenge I’ve faced in my own advocacy isn’t the critics or the skeptics, the frustration of politics, or even that so many we’ve loved – some of whom would have been here tonight – have passed away. The greatest challenge, I think, is the need to keep making a difference as the years accumulate.
